About This Site

ModernWiccan.com was first launched by Blake Schreurs in January of 2001. It was a small site, designed to create an on-line community of pagans. At the time the community was unique, as it focused on building an active community, sharing, learning, and providing an intellectual workout.

Over time the site grew substantially (mostly by word-of-mouth) to where it stands today: One of the largest and most active pagan communities on the Internet. The goal of the site remains to help enlighten, challenge, and inspire.

As the site continues to grow, it will have more projects and activites that all members of the community can get involved in. As we move forward, much of the goal is to leverage the power of community to create some new resources that all pagans can find useful.
